Jen SmithJen Smith is a 39 year old mother of 2 kids who has lived in Taupō her whole life. She works as an office administrator for a local physio.
To relax, she loves hanging out with her kids and doing “pretty much anything active.” When asked why she decided to embark on the journey of Dancing for Life Education in partnership with Penny Homes, Jen says: “Those that know me know that I LOVE a challenge! I’m always aiming for something to make me step out of my comfort zone and this most definitely is going to do that! I really love doing things that benefit the Taupō community, I’m always keen to put my hand up when I can to help with fundraising or volunteering..” Jen is looking forward to learning something new, all while raising money for Life Education Trust Central Plateau. Ross HumphreyMost around town know him as Constable Ross. You may recognise him from the recent Police advert for the new Non-Emergency number 10-5. Ross is a Police Officer based here in Taupō with his wife and two children. In his spare time he enjoys taking part in Musicals with Centre Stage and is the current Chairperson for Taupō Bluelight.
Ross says “I decided to embark on this journey as the stage is my third home, after my real home and work! I hope to meet new people and get a bit fitter by dancing my arse off all while supporting a good cause. GAME ON!!” |
